Me at the Moment - Claire Ernst
Jersey native and now Nashville resident, Claire Ernst is such a gem. I seriously can’t believe more people don’t know about her. But, I’m happy to share with all of my besties! I first found out about Claire while scrolling the Tiny Desks submissions and when I heard her submission — that was it. I gave her my stan card. Claire is a talented singer and songwriter. In 2020, she recently won the opportunity to help recording artist H.E.R. finish co-writing a song for a “Life is Good” campaign. Out of thousands of submissions, Ernst was one of the three winners chosen to be flown out to Los Angeles to collaborate with H.E.R.
Coming from a musical family, it was kismet that Claire would later grow into the talent she is today. Her genre of music would best be described as Pop and R&B. Check her out.

Mutt - Leon Thomas
Leon Thomas III is a multi-talented creative. I promise you have heard at least one song he has written, produced, or vocally backed on before. He is most notable for his role as Andre Harris in Nickelodeon’s Victorious but his work in the music industry, in my opinion is criminally underrated. Leon has worked with superstars like Ariana Grande, SZA, Drake and even R&B greats like Deborah Cox and Toni Braxton. He’s now a Grammy award winner for his work in producing SZA’s hit “Snooze.” Now, he’s dropped his NEW single, “Mutt” and it’s been on my daily playlist ever since. I am OBSESSED with the production on this record. The drums, his vocals — Just check this one out, you guys.

flowerovlove - breaking news
Coming in from South London, introducing Flowerovlove. Crowned a “bedroom pop prodigy” by Dazed, Flowerovlove is an up and coming artist sharpening the sound of indie-pop. Her bubbly and dreamy personality shines through her music. I recently was suggested her music video for “breaking news” on YouTube. I thought the video was cute and the vibe of the song is truly sanguine. When not doing music she’s on the runway for brands like Gucci, Pangaia, and Valentino.
“breaking news” may have a euphoric sound but, Flowerovlove explains she was actually very sad when she wrote it. “I wanted to feel something lovey dovey, so I wanted to manifest feelings through a song. ‘Breaking News’ is about the thought process when you go from a crush to falling in love super uncontrollably fast and you can’t stop it, in combination with the shock of realising ‘whoa this is more than a crush.” Make sure to give it a listen!
